Ticket Termsand transfer policy

By buying a ticket to a The Black Fashion Week event, you agree to these terms. They are run by The Black Fashion Week dba TBFW ("TBFW").

At a glance

1. Your ticket

A ticket admits one guest to the event, date and ticket type shown on it. Your QR code is your ticket. A table ticket includes four QR codes, one for each guest at the table.

Keep your QR codes private. Anyone holding a code can use it, and the first scan is the one that counts. TBFW is not responsible for lost, stolen or shared codes.

2. Prices and fees

Prices are shown at checkout on theblackfashionweekco.net or through our Square checkout. Payment processing fees are not refundable. Prices may change before an event, and early-bird or promo prices end on the date shown.

3. No refunds; transfers allowed

All ticket sales are final. TBFW does not give refunds for a change of plans, illness, travel problems, weather or a missed event.

You may transfer your ticket to someone else for free. Email info@theblackfashionweekco.net at least 24 hours before doors open with your name, your order email and the new guest's name and email. We will send the new guest their QR code and cancel yours. A ticket can be transferred once.

4. If TBFW cancels or reschedules

• Canceled: you receive a full refund of the ticket price within 14 days.
• Rescheduled or moved: your ticket is valid for the new date or location. If you cannot attend, ask for a refund within 7 days of our announcement.
• Program changes: TBFW may change the lineup, designers, models, performers, schedule or running order without a refund.

5. Seating and table tickets

• VIP table: a reserved table for four guests along the runway, a meal from our chef for each guest and a complimentary gift. Drinks are not included.
• General admission: a chair in the general admission seating.
• VIP perks are only those listed for your ticket type.

6. Entry and venue rules

• Show your QR code at the door. Door and show times are on the event page.
• Late arrivals may be seated at a break in the show so models and guests are not disrupted.
• Age limits are set for each show and listed on the event page. Guests under 18 must be with an adult.
• Any dress code is listed on the event page. TBFW may refuse entry for unsafe or disruptive attire.
• No weapons, illegal substances, outside alcohol, or professional cameras without approval. Bags may be checked.
• Treat staff, guests, models and designers with respect. Harassment, discrimination or disruption may lead to removal without a refund.

7. Photos and video

Events are photographed and filmed. By entering, you agree that TBFW may use photos and recordings that include you, without payment, on its website, app and social media, in marketing and publications including the TBFW magazine, and in TBFW's television and streaming series. If you do not want to be photographed, tell staff at the door.

Personal photos and clips for social media are welcome. Commercial filming or selling recordings of the show is not allowed.

8. Resale

Tickets may not be resold above face value or through unauthorized sites. TBFW may cancel tickets sold that way without a refund.

9. Accessibility

We want everyone to enjoy the show. For accessibility needs, email info@theblackfashionweekco.net at least 3 days before the event so we can help.

10. Safety and liability

Events involve the normal risks of crowds, low lighting and moving between seating areas. You attend at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, TBFW, its staff, volunteers, venue and sponsors are not liable for personal injury or for loss of or damage to belongings, except where caused by their gross negligence.

11. Payment disputes

Please contact us before filing a chargeback. TBFW may cancel tickets bought with a disputed or fraudulent payment.

12. Contact and governing law

These terms are governed by Tennessee law. Disputes go first to good-faith discussion, then to mediation, then to the courts of Davidson County, Tennessee. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
